موقعیت دکتری حمل و نقل دانشگاه اوکلند
The Transportation Research Centre of the University of Auckland, New Zealand is pleased to announce that we are seeking applications for THREE fully funded Transportation PhD students to join our multi-disciplinary research team to work together to develop robust roadway-charging systems for EVs, enabling vehicles to pick up charge from the roadway itself, when they are parked, stopped at traffic signals, or moving along a special charging lane.
TWO PhD students will address pavement materials and modelling aspects to ensure the pavement can be constructed durably to accommodate the IPT pads and driving electronics, without compromising its strength and fatigue life. The THIRD PhD student will develop models to assess the impact of spatial placement and operation modes, on demand as well as on safety, efficiency and economic performance of road networks.
Applicants will have an interest in sustainable transport systems and reducing carbon emissions from motor vehicles by increasing the earlier take-up of electric vehicles thereby reducing carbon emissions from Internal Combustion Engines. We welcome applicants from any discipline but especially those from Engineering, applied Mathematics and Commerce with interests in areas of either pavement materials, laboratory testing and modelling, traffic engineering, traffic simulation modelling and transport economics.
These positions are available to international and domestic NZ students. Successful candidates will have all fees paid, an annual tax-free stipend of NZ$ 27,000 and up to NZ$8900 for research-related costs. In addition a NZ$5,000 bonus stipend will be offered to those awarded a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship (applied for separately).

I'm pleased to advise that here at Monash University's Mobility Design Lab, we are offering a Design PhD Scholarship in the field of cycling. In particular, the research will look at the design elements that create a safe, healthy and effective system.
This scholarship is for "international" applicants - just to explain from our perspective, this essentially means non-Australian.
Detailed information can be found here:
