Dear friends and colleagues,
Hope all is well with you during this difficult time.
We are organizing an Emerging Mobility Systems and Services Seminar Series (EM4S) starting from June 25th (https://em4s.org/). Each Thursday, we will invite a top-notch scholar to come online at 10 AM EST and share high-quality research in this flourishing field. The talks feature a broad topic coverage from planning, behaviors to operations, and intend to engage audiences both within and beyond the transportation community. We plan to buffer 30 minutes after each talk to allow In-depth and inclusive discussions between the speaker and audiences. The talks will be live through Zoom Webinar and recorded.
Please subscribe to our email list through http://tiny.cc/em4s .
The first seminar will be presented by Professor Nikolas Geroliminis from EPFL on June 25. He will be sharing his recent research on the topic of on-demand transportation and car-sharing. Once subscribed, you will receive our follow-up emails with detailed information and link access for the webinar.
Looking forward to seeing you at the seminar.
Best regards,
Neda Masoud, Qi Luo, Wei Ma, Xiaotong Sun, Zhengtian Xu

I am pleased to announce our paper entitled “Assessment pedestrian crossing safety using vehicle-pedestrian interaction data through two different approaches: Fixed videography (FV) vs In-Motion Videography (IMV)” in the Journal of Accident Analysis & Prevention is published online. The present study focuses on evaluating the safety of pedestrian crossing in urban and outskirt areas based on fixed videography (FV) and in-motion videography (IMV) to determine the differences of drivers and pedestrians’ behaviors in these areas.
