Not long ago, Xiaomi developers responsible for system software began the global deployment of a major update to HyperOS 2.1 , with firmware numbers like OS2.0.1xx, among compatible Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices.

Xiaomi and Poco devices have already received quite a few major HyperOS 2.1 updates, but the manufacturer continues to work on them. Interestingly, not a single Redmi device has received HyperOS 2.1 yet.

However, today the global and European HyperOS 2.1 firmware for the popular Xiaomi 14T Pro and Poco X6 Pro smartphones was released, which cannot but please their owners.

🔗 The next major updates to HyperOS 2 Global will introduce new AI functions that are part of the proprietary Xiaomi HyperAI complex.

1️⃣ AI search – the function will allow you to find photos, videos, files, recordings, notes and messages, as well as find where exactly they are located in the Gallery, Explorer, Voice Recorder, Notes and Messages.

2️⃣ Computing support (I don't know why the developers named it that way, but when it's first mentioned it's hard to understand what it means, although it's a very useful feature) If you have a smartphone that supports HyperAI, but you also have another Xiaomi device that does not support HyperAI, the second device will be able to perform some AI functions using the computing power of the first.

🔗 Currently, these functions are hidden in the system, but they will most likely be activated in the next updates.
