Live Photos will be available on many Xiaomi smartphones with HyperOS 2 🔖

Xiaomi has launched a new Live Photos feature, fully integrated into the Gallery app of HyperOS 2, which allows us to create dynamic images or photos and which is very similar to Live in iOS.

At the moment, creating dynamic images is only available on the new Chinese model Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, although a little later Live Photos will appear on a large number of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices that already have HyperOS 2 installed.

Xiaomi has Stopped Updates for Next 3 Days🔖

Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphone owners around the world may have noticed a temporary lack of HyperOS 2 system updates over the past two to three days, leading them to question whether there may be a glitch in the update schedule.

However, the reason for this pause is directly related to the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu Jie), which is officially celebrated in China from May 31 to June 2, 2025.
