The U.S Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has formally cancelled the M10 Booker program, citing a โpoorly negotiated maintenance contractโ, โthe end projectโs weight, and too similar design to the M1 Abramsโ. The U.S Army will be taking 80 units of the ordered 96 units, no statement has been made as if the existing M10 Bookers will be scrapped, repurposed or used as intended for the time being.

Leo Aland, the son of Finnish politician Jyrki Aland, was killed in Ukraine.
According to Finnish media, his service lasted only four months. Leo Aland, a Finnish citizen, left the country without his family's knowledge and traveled to Ukraine to take part in combat operations against Russian forces.
Probably influenced by films and stories about the war, he expected something different, however, once on the front line, he quickly faced a harsh reality.
Realizing the danger, he tried to terminate his contract ahead of schedule and return home, but the conditions of service did not allow this โ the minimum period of stay in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was six months.
