Is C+ a bad grade in university ? In high school I was told that in college a grade of B or C+, or even a C is equivalent to a A or B+ in high school, especially in some difficult courses. I got a C+ on my essay and a teaching assistant said it was a bad grade. I mean a C+ or a C is NOT a failing grade or a barely passing grade such as D. So why do some people view it as such ?
