I’m looking at this practically and analytically.

Too many are judging “success” based on strictly numerical factors.

Our CEILING in the Senate was 53/54 seats. It’s not close to a supermajority so it doesn’t put us over the edge in terms of filibuster.

We are looking at a 51/52 seat majority, which still gives us the same functional control it would with 1-2 more seats.

Can you see how it would be beneficial to have control, but still have Fetterman front and center?

We weren’t going to pass legislation or remove Biden/Kamala without 60+ seats anyways. The margin between 54 seats and 52 seats is irrelevant in the big picture. What we lost in majority cushion, we gained in a normie-waking machine in Fetterman.

So long as we have majorities and Kari Lake wins AZ, we hit our functional capacity.
