The Kenya Bankers Association has proposed new PAYE bands under the Finance Bill 2026. The proposed structure is as follows:
Up to Sh30,000: 10%
Sh30,001โ38,333: 20%
Sh38,334โ500,000: 25%
Sh500,001โ800,000: 27.5%
Above Sh800,000: 30%
Additionally, the Association proposes increasing personal relief from Sh2,400 to Sh3,000.
