A Russian serviceman with the call sign "Soroka" (“Magpie”) was captured by AFU soldiers, but managed to convince them to surrender.

Soroka and another Russian soldier jumped into a basement to administer first aid after being injured following an aerial drop during an assault.  However, there already were seven Ukrainian soldiers in the basement, pointing their rifles at the Russians.  Later, three of them left to look for a lost radio and got hit by friendly fire.

Realizing that the remaining four Ukrainians were just regular mobilized folks who wanted nothing to do with the hostilities going on, Soroka managed to convince them to surrender, promising them safety, and kept his word.
