๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑโ— US and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire on April 7, 2026, announced by President Trump hours before his deadline.

The ceasefire suspends US/Israeli strikes on Iran in exchange for Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz to shipping; talks begin soon in Pakistan. Israel supports the Iran truce but explicitly states it does not include Lebanon.

Major places bombed (recent phase, per April 7 reports):

โšก Israel: Tel Aviv area and central/northern sites hit by Iranian missiles/rockets.

โšก Lebanon: Southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahiya/Hezbollah areas) and Tyre region.

โšก Iran: Energy/petrochemical targets (ongoing prior strikes, paused under deal).

Why Israel insists on war with Lebanon?

To neutralize Hezbollah (Iran proxy) threats, destroy its rocket/military infrastructure near the border, establish a security buffer zone up to the Litani River, and prevent attacks on northern Israel. Netanyahu clarified the ceasefire excludes this front; full Hezbollah disarmament remains a core goal.
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ง Hezbollah has accepted the two-weeks ceasefire despite Israel stating they'll continue their onslaught against the Lebanese group.

We await the verdict.

โ—โšก๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Ceasefire might not hold as Israel continues bombardment of Iranian allies.

Iran, unlike the other Israeli foes have mastered the Zionist schemes, so wolfbrief calls this ceasefire uneasy and we might see more assassinations, missiles hit on infrastructure and counter retaliatory strikes.

A divide.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ทโšก Iran's Speaker of the Parliament Mahamad Ghalibaf:

Statement on the violation of three key clauses of the 10-Point Proposal (Agreed Framework) before the start of the negotiations

The deep historical distrust we hold toward the United States stems from its repeated violations of all forms of commitments โ€” a pattern that has regrettably been repeated once again.

As the President of the United States has clearly stated in his Truth, the Islamic Republic of Iran's 10-Point Proposal is a "workable basis on which to negotiate" and the main framework for these talks.

However, 3 clauses of this proposal have been violated so far:

1- Non-compliance with the first clause of the 10-Point Proposal regarding the ceasefire in Lebanon โ€” a commitment that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also explicitly referred to and declared as "an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon and other regions, effective immediately";

2- The entry of an intruding drone into Iran airspace, which was destroyed in the city of Lar in Fars Province, in clear violation of the clause prohibiting any further violation of Iran airspace;

3- Denial of Iran's right to enrichment, which was included in sixth clause of the framework.
Now, the very "workable basis on which to negotiate" has been openly and clearly violated, even before the negotiations began.

In such situation, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations is unreasonable.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ โšก Automatic registration for US military draft-eligible men to begin in December

Automatic registration into the U.S. military draft pool for eligible men is slated to begin in December, following efforts from lawmakers and the selective service agency to streamline the previous self-registration process.

The Selective Service System, the federal agency that maintains a database of registered U.S. males who are considered draft-eligible in the event of a national emergency, submitted a proposed rule to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs on March 30, according to the officeโ€™s dashboard.

Automatic registration into Selective Service was mandated in December 2025, when President Donald Trump signed into law the fiscal year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act, the agencyโ€™s website says.
