#book

This book provides a practical guide to building and maintaining good habits.
It has been 2 years that I've read it🥲.
Clear argues that the key to lasting change is making small, incremental improvements over time. He outlines a four-step process for habit formation: cue, craving, response, and reward.

Clear also emphasizes the importance of focusing on identity-based habits, or habits that align with our values and identity. He encourages readers to shift their mindset from “I want to achieve X” to “I am someone who does X.”

Throughout the book, Clear provides numerous examples and strategies for building good habits and breaking bad ones. He also addresses common roadblocks such as procrastination, lack of motivation, and fear of failure.

In the end, Atomic Habits offers a comprehensive framework for achieving lasting change in one’s life. By focusing on small improvements and aligning our habits with our identity, we can create positive momentum that leads to significant transformation over time.
Many of you are asking about how to get a fee waiver from common app.
So, I will introduce the steps to request a fee waiver in the Common Application:

1. Firstly, you should log in to your Common Application account.

2. Navigate to the "Profile" section and click on "Common App Fee Waiver."

3. Complete the eligibility criteria to determine if you qualify for a fee waiver.

4. Your name will be asked as a "sign", then you should write your own name (ex: Mannonova Mohinur)

6. Submit your fee waiver request.

Once you have submitted your fee waiver request, the colleges you have selected will be notified and will make a decision on whether to grant you a fee waiver. It's important to note that not all colleges participate in the Common Application fee waiver program, so you may need to check with individual schools to see if they offer fee waivers and what their requirements are.

SAT?

The SAT, or Scholastic Assessment Test, is a standardized test commonly used by colleges and universities in the United States as part of their admissions process. The test is designed to assess a student's readiness for college-level work and is typically taken by high school students.

The SAT is divided into two main sections: Math and EBRW (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing). The Math section evaluates a student's mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills, covering topics such as algebra, geometry, and statistics. While the math questions on the SAT are generally not as difficult as those on some other exams, they may include topics that are not covered in certain high school math curriculums.

The EBRW section tests a student's reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills. It includes both reading passages and writing tasks. In the writing portion, students are not required to write an essay like they would in exams such as the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). Instead, they answer multiple-choice questions related to grammar and writing conventions. The reading section consists of passages followed by multiple-choice questions that test a student's understanding, analysis, and interpretation of the text. SAT reading questions often require logical reasoning skills in addition to comprehension.

While a high SAT score can positively impact a student's chances of being admitted to a university, it is important to note that SAT scores are just one factor considered in the admissions process. Universities also evaluate other aspects such as high school grades, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation.

hadji-murad_leo-tolstoy.pdf
about the novel

-The story is about Hadji wrestling with joining the Russians against their Caucasian adversaries to defeat a foe Shamil who captured his mother, wives, and children. He is an Avar Caucasian warrior who was formerly as Russian-appointed governor of Avaria and currently Shamil's chief representative there.

main purpose from writing the "Haji Murad":

-Hadji Murad, written in the final years of Tolstoy's life and published in 1912, introduces an understanding of the behavior of people in wartime that Tolstoy presented in War and Peace in the 1860s and developed further over the rest of his life.

What happened to his family?

An unknown naib warned him and he managed to escape in time, but his family were held captive. Hadji Murad surrendered to the Russians, who lionised but mistrusted him. He repeatedly asked to be given men and guns to attack Shamil and rescue his family, but received no firm reply.

what happens at the end of the novel?

-Months later, while attempting to rescue his family from Shamil's prison, Hadji Murád was pursued by those he had betrayed and, after fighting the most heroic battle of his life, was killed.

More personal reflections of me:

Haji Murad is a good muslim, I liked the way he didn't miss any prayer times although he is in wars, or in prison, he is soooo patriotic person: ready to do everything when it comes to his family and hometown.
I hope I've learned many things from this book!
GMAT?

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized test used for admission to graduate management programs. It assesses analytical, verbal, quantitative, and writing skills. The test has four sections: Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning. The total score ranges from 200 to 800, based on the quantitative and verbal sections. The GMAT is a computer-adaptive test.

GRE?

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination. It is a standardized test that is used to assess the skills of individuals who are applying to graduate programs, such as master's or doctoral programs. The GRE is designed to measure a test-taker's abilities in areas such as analytical writing, quantitative reasoning, and verbal reasoning. The test is administered in a computer-adaptive format, which means that the difficulty of the questions adapts to the test-taker's ability level. The GRE is widely recognized by graduate schools around the world and is often a requirement for admission to graduate programs. In addition to the general GRE, there are also subject-specific GRE tests that are designed to assess a test-taker's knowledge in specific fields, such as biology, chemistry, or physics.

A-level?

A-levels, or Advanced-levels, are a set of exams taken by students in the UK and some other countries, typically at the age of 18. A-levels are usually taken after completing two years of study in a particular subject at a secondary school or college. The exams are designed to test a student's knowledge and understanding of a subject in greater depth than at GCSE level, and are often used as a basis for university admission. A-levels are available in a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, sciences, humanities, and languages. Students typically take three or four A-levels, although some may take more or fewer depending on their individual circumstances and goals.

ACT?

ACT stands for American College Testing. It is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. The ACT is designed to assess a student's readiness for college-level work and is typically taken by high school students in their junior or senior year. The test consists of four sections: English, mathematics, reading, and science, with an optional writing section. The ACT is scored on a scale of 1 to 36, with the average score being around 20. The test is widely accepted by colleges and universities in the United States, and many students take the ACT in addition to the SAT as part of their college application process. In addition to college admissions, the ACT is also used for scholarship applications and academic research.

All of 'em are considered as admission requirement in foreign Universities,( but optional in most of them), and here you can get further information about SAT.

#productivity

Given the overpowering addictive nature of smartphones, putting our devices down for an extended period of time has become difficult to near impossible. To improve our businesses, relationships, and productivity, we need to limit our interaction with unproductive technology. To that end, the following five apps can help you limit screen time and be more productive with your time.
Here I'm sharing best 5 apps those can help you to increase your productivity on a daily basis📈

📌Moment is a simple app that’ll help you track and manage how much time you spend on your phone. You can set time limits, enable reminders, and enable automatic shut-offs.

📌Flipd helps you limit screen time by locking your phone for a set amount of time. In this case, your social media applications disappear until the timer ends. However, while the app restricts your social media distractions, you can still receive calls and texts.

📌The AntiSocial app helps you spend less time playing around with your phone. It’s a social media tracking app that identifies how much time you spend on apps, so you can become more aware of your online behaviors.

📌The Forest app tries to cut back your habit of excessive phone usage by helping you stay focused on real-world tasks. Set a timer on the app and ‘plant a seed.’ When this happens, your seed will grow into a tree. However, if you unlock your phone before the timer is up, your tree will die.

📌I myself use the app Digital detox or simply called "digital wellbeing".
It is very easy to use, and you can't access any information while you are having a detox. I become kinda efficient when I use this app.

"It ends with us" is a novel by Colleen Hoover which was published in 2016.
It is mostly about a girl called Lily Bloom, a young man woman who falls in love with Ryle Kincaid (neurosurgeon).
Lily's childhood was full of dramatic "tragedies" shown by her father's abusive behavior towards her mother, so Lily became so apprehensive when it comes to relationships...

Despite her reservations, Lily and Ryle begin a passionate romance that quickly becomes serious. However, Lily soon discovers that Ryle has a violent streak and has a tendency to lash out when he feels threatened. As she struggles to come to terms with Ryle's behavior, Lily finds herself drawn to her first love, an old friend named Atlas Corrigan.

Throughout the novel, Lily grapples with her conflicting emotions and tries to make sense of her complicated past. She must decide whether to stay with Ryle, the man she loves but who has shown a violent side, or to leave him and try to move on with her life. Along the way, she learns important lessons about love, forgiveness, and the importance of standing up for oneself.

But at the end of the novel Lily wants a divorce with his husband Ryle.
First of all she didn't want to give bad life for her daughter Emerson as her mother gave to her (by living with his father and forgiving him again and again), because some people don't deserve second chance.

At this point it ends with us ends...
And her life with Atlas with continue in the second part of the novel: " It starts with us", this is also the best novel

I hope you will enjoy reading this book as I did:)

What Is Essentialism?
Essentialism is a disciplined, systematic approach for determining where our highest point of contribution lies, then making execution of those things almost effortless.
Only once you give yourself permission to stop trying to do it all, to stop saying yes to everyone, can you make your highest contribution towards the things that really matter.
Essentialism is about deliberately distinguishing the vital few from the trivial many, eliminating the non-essentials, and then removing any obstacles so the essential things have a clear, smooth passage.
If you don’t prioritize your life, someone else will.
The Paradox of Success: the more options we have, the more we feel distracted from what would otherwise be our highest level of contribution.
To embrace the essence of Essentialism requires we replace these false assumptions with three core truths: “I choose to,” “Only a few things really matter,” and “I can do anything but not everything.”
