Deal terms:
🔹 2-year lockup, no hedging allowed, but Binance keeps full voting rights
🔹 Alongside a new 5-year commercial deal — Binance will promote $USDC via Circle's Modular Smart Contract Wallet
🔹 Circle pays Binance a monthly fee based on USDC balances in that wallet (% undisclosed)
Timing context: this came just 2 days after the CLARITY Act stalled and CRCL fell 11% in a session. Stock has since recovered — closed at $94.49 Monday (+2.95%), traded $95.76 in Tuesday pre-market

The code could bypass iPhone security, pull data from other apps (targeting 19 wallet/note-taking apps), and send it to a remote server
A wallet linked to the attacker has received ~$580K (579,984 USDT) since Sept 15
Affected versions were live Sept 9-17, removed in v1.3. SlowMist's advice: anyone who ran v1.1/1.2 should treat their seed phrases and private keys as compromised and move funds to a new wallet on a clean device
