What amazed me was the crazy budget the NEAR foundation had for all of this, considering NEAR is a pretty niche crypto, it is not even listed on most exchanges because it is very much out of the mainstream. But still, so much money was flowing into this event. Free (and very good) food, free nightclub parties, big hackathon cash-prize, huge conference rooms with big cameras, screens, and good overall design. It was weird to think that this company no one knows about still manages to pump so much budget in developer and client relationship.
