UBS EXPECTS GOLD TO REACH $3,500 IN 2025 AND CONTINUE RISING THROUGH 2026

UBS updated its gold price forecast on Friday, now predicting that the precious metal will rise to $3,500 in 2025.

"The case for adding gold allocations is more compelling than ever in this environment of heightened tariff uncertainty, weaker growth, higher inflation, and persistent geopolitical risks," UBS strategist Jonny Teves said in a note.

Teves added that the changing global trade, economic, and geopolitical landscape reinforces gold's role as a safer investment haven.

He expects bullion to continue rising through 2026 and for prices to stabilize at higher levels over the long term.

Despite gold's rally this year and the prevailing bullish market consensus, UBS said its position tracking indicators indicate there is still potential for growth in gold investments.
