TikTok ruined the internet.
The best argument for banning TikTok in our country is bandwidth consumption. People are requesting servers, that are most likely not in this country, every 5-10 second interval. Now imagine millions of people doing this on Tele's infrastructure at the same time. It's a miracle that we still have internet.
The best thing to do is for Tele to build a server farm right here in ET and lease it to TikTok, Facebook and Google.
It would solve the internet issue without needing more bandwidth or infrastructure. Just one server farm. An investment instead of a cost.
The annoying part is that TikTok, reels or shorts never lags, its always when you try to do some actual work that the internet stops working. Especially GitHub.
At least lets put a curfew on it: Etach sefer and ken elay sefer lela ken 😂 fr tho regionally like one day AA gets tiktok then another day Dire or smth Idk I'm just ranting until my internet comes back
