This is my progress on the audiobook generator so far

I am using my laziness as a superpower to adopt all the best practices

Stuff that's left todo
- use remote functions
- create a shared class instance for the audio player
- Maybe create another wasm module for processing and merging audio snippets into an audiobook. I am very biased towards using the user's compute whenever I can.

Since today is #friday it means I must chill and build something

And this project is something that someone like me desperately needs

A Project Tracker

I want to visually see how many days I've spent on a project and also plan out how many days I will be working on it

What if I run multiple streams on a VPS, then the VPS tracks the time on each stream and sends me back the most stable one

Or what if I just watch the stream on a VPS... idk...

Social networks are so limited. There really only is just One kind of Social Network.

X (Twitter): Ragebaits you, people are farming the algo, mostly an echo chamber
TikTok: Brainrot. You can tune your algo all you want but it will always result in brainrot
Instagram: designed to corrupt the youth
YouTube: Hands down the best if you use it right. But they had to go and add Shorts.

So these are the social networks that I, and most people switch between. Is it not totally messed up? its such an awful feeling to just switch between them and not feel satisfied. Lowkey they give off dystopian vibes. Their true purpose is to act as a billboard for ads. . This is what we are choosing to do with the internet. They're all more or less using the same kind of philosophy. Maybe there's a place for a new philosophy.

I think most people are tired of it as well. And if a new social network came with the right philosophy it could still be huge. People want useful things. It doesn't matter if social networks already have billions of users.

I dare Zuck to build something he would actually use.
