so I have this extension i built a couple month back so that i don't have to context switch between notion and vscode... I literally can't live without it now
It's perfect... i open codex on the right open vs notes on left and i can even work on different things at the same time
If vscode doesn't become more modular then someone like me will fork it and make it more modular for extensions
It's current UI/UX is literally useless to me it's need to be rebuilt around extensions... since everyone can vibe code anything they want now
there's no need to build the codex /claude code app that users can vibe code and change... there's already vscode + your own extensions just need to make it better

this is panning out to be the most exciting feature to implement

I launched glow on reddit and got cooked in the comments. People were like:
> "what a waste of tokens"
> "this is absolutely trash"
> "really?"
> "This was just what I was missing" (ironically π)
....
And those comments probably helped me more than Glow going viral and getting a ton of users

An important one I forgot to mention:
- Core human desire

Expose yourself to open source software with great philosophy and great architecture
This is pretty revolutionary
I already built a chess coach with it
If I knew about this earlier I wouldn't have embedded a cli into my figma clone hehe... could've created a native experience
I hope other labs do the same
