“I didn’t graduate as my passion for the course waned. As a child, I had a passion for making friendship bracelets. When we got to university, my sister Glaiza Guzman suggested we start making jewelry and so we broke the news to our dad who understood and supported us,” she said.

They would then begin advertising and selling the products on the internet through their official website. They would do that for a while before deciding to establish a physical store in 2017.

After running the business online for a while, the duo would then get an idea of setting up a physical store where they can showcase their products and give others a platform to showcase their products as well, hence the birth of the ‘Made in Kenya’ stores.

Trans-Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya proved to be fittest county chief when he won the governors' marathon ahead of the devolution conference.

Natembeya is known for being a stoic and a no nonsense administrator.
After KMTC, she got a job as a chemist in a pharmaceutical retail store in Nairobi. She also enrolled for an online degree in pharmacy from a Turkish University.

However, despite her qualifications, she was not registered as a pharmacist due to legislation differences between Turkey and Kenya.

Hundreds of athletes have gathered at Sportsline Hotel in Kabarnet ahead of the Kirdam Road Race.

Athletes will compete in the half marathon where the winner will pocket ksh 250000.

There will also be a 10km race where the winner will walk away with Ksh 100k.
