CVE's WILL NEVER STOP. BUT YOU ONLY GET ONE LIFE.

Sometimes I don’t want to post about another vulnerability, another x-tool, another exploit chain, another certification, another education course, another book, or another “must-read” report.

Sometimes it’s worth talking about something more important. The fact that your time, health, focus, and energy are limited.

Every day, new CVEs come out.
Every day, someone finds another bug.
Every day, there is another zero-day, another malware family, another bypass, another PoC, another report, another framework, another course, another thing you are “supposed” to know. Yep, true.

And you will never catch up with all of it.

You can spend your entire life trying to stay on top of everything — and still lose. Because the information stream is infinite. You - are not.

Your body is not infinite. Yep, Man.
Your mental bandwidth is not infinite.
Your concentration is not infinite.
Your years are not infinite. You got it?

That is hard to understand when you are 18, 22, 25, or even 30.

At that age, it feels like you can run on five hours of sleep, eat like garbage, sit in front of a screen for 12 hours a day, live on coffee, ignore your eyes, your back, your anxiety, your burnout, your exhaustion, and every signal your body is sending you.

You tell yourself, “I’ll deal with it later.”
But later, you may not be dealing with your next promotion, your next job offer, or your next salary jump.

You may be dealing with doctors, pills, chronic fatigue, panic, pain, and the very basic question of how to function like a normal human being again. And that is a very different game.

Cybersecurity is an incredible field.

Yep. It can give you money.
Of courese. Freedom.
Relocation opportunities. True 100%
International experience.
A strong network.
A better life which you have got dream.

But cybersecurity is a tool. Remember it, Man.

Work is a tool.
Your career is a tool.
Money is a tool. Not Aim.

It is not supposed to become a prison where you burn yourself alive for someone else’s deadlines, someone else’s KPIs, and someone else’s “urgent” problems.

The work existed before you.
The work will exist after you.
The tickets will not end.
The bugs will not end.
The vulnerabilities will not end.
The incidents or challenges will not end. Never.

But your years will. Sure, Man.

And that is not a depressing thought. It is a sober one. At some point, you have to ask yourself:
Am I earning more because my value is growing — or because I am simply working more hours?
Am I building the life I actually wanted — or just closing tickets?
Am I investing in my body, my mind, my skills, my relationships, my experiences — or only in another certification?
Am I actually living — or just surviving until the weekend?
Am I postponing my dreams because the timing is truly wrong — or because I have trained myself to postpone everything?

The older you get, the more expensive mistakes become.

Responsibilities show up. Family may show up. Financial pressure increases. Your standards change. Your need for stability grows. Your cost of living goes up. Your need for freedom becomes more real.

And at some point, the goal cannot be to simply work more. The goal has to be to become more valuable.

To make more money in less time.
To increase the price of your hour.
To build leverage.
To buy back your time.
To stop living as if your body is just disposable hardware attached to a laptop.

So, yes — study.

Grow yourself.
Read more.
Build.
Ship projects.
Learn English.
Move into international markets.
Go deeper into security.
Increase your value.
Raise your standards.
Make money.

But do not forget to live.

Sleep.
Move.
Take care of your eyes and your back.
Get your health checked.
Stop romanticizing burnout.
Stop treating overwork like a personality trait.
Stop sacrificing your entire life for problems that will be replaced by new problems tomorrow.

BECAUSE TOMORROW IS NOT GUARANTEED.

You can spend years saving for a dream and never get to live it.
You can wait for the perfect moment and realize it never came.
You can keep saying, “I’ll work hard now and live later,” and one day wake up with the brutal realization that your best years went into other people’s projects, other people’s releases, other people’s emergencies, and other people’s priorities.

HARSH? Mm? Really?
YES.

BUT IT IS BETTER TO UNDERSTAND THIS EARLY THAN TO LEARN IT WHEN YOUR BODY HAS ALREADY SENT YOU THE BILL.

Cybersecurity matters.
Career matters.
Money matters.
Skills matter.
Certifications matter.
Relocation matters.

But all of these things are supposed to help you build a better life.
THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO REPLACE YOUR LIFE.

There will be new CVEs tomorrow.
There will be new attacks tomorrow.
There will be new tickets tomorrow.
There will be new deadlines tomorrow.
There will be new emergencies tomorrow.
ALWAYS.

BUT TODAY WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

Take care of yourself.
Invest in yourself.
Increase your value.
Protect your health.
Build the life you actually want.

Work is part of life.
It is not the whole thing.
