You don't understand the ethos imbued in us from our parents, one which has synthesized over decades, growing in nuance and meaning over time.

You're an actor.
You play the role in public before retreating to your cultural norms in private amongst your family.
You mimic and pervert the meaning behind our culture and then spit on us when we correct you.
You can safely abandon this sinking ship anytime you want.

Granted the circumstances and context, one can't really blame you. You're only taking advantage of the opportunities given to you...
It doesn't make you evil.

Part of the reason our generation lacks any political power is because we don't have the stability of previous generations.

We are now in the first society I think ever where old people have hoarded the wealth, because we live in the first society ever where we've become so soulless that no one gives a fuck about the future of their own bloodlines
