REGENT Seaglider Completes Initial Foil Testing
REGENT’s Viceroy Seaglider prototype has successfully completed its first round of low-speed hydrofoil testing, lifting out of the water while operating in foil mode. The Seaglider operates entirely over water in three modes: hull-borne, hydrofoiling, and flying in ground effect—within one wingspan of the surface. This sea trial campaign focused on validating hydrofoiling performance in preparation for the vehicle’s first flight scheduled later this year.
