A fire broke out at a military facility in the Vladimir region, leading to the detonation of ammunition, according to Russia’s Ministry of Defense. Emergency response teams from the military and the Ministry of Emergency Situations were deployed to contain the blaze.

Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties. The fire is believed to have been caused by a breach of safety protocols.

Defense Minister Belousov has ordered the creation of a special commission to investigate the incident. Those found responsible will be held accountable, the ministry said.
