It is extremely unlikely 40 russian aircraft are hit, 10 or so is more likely but still a massive hit on Russian long-range strike capabilities and shows the weakneses of having a massive country with few people.

I've been expecting something like this to happen, if you can drive past the checkpoints you can easily have a few dozen fpv drones in a truck or bus with 10-20 people and strike from inside the country.

The Ukrainians have launched a massive sabotage operation today and yesterday on Russian rail and now airfields, it is unlikely to be the end and is likely tied to the expected Russian offensive.

1. РЭБом аэродромы со стратегической авиацией, судя по видео, не защищены.
2. Ангаров нет (привет всем бьюти-блогерам, которые хейтили эти идеи)
3. Мобильных ПВОшных групп на тех же пикапах — нет (зато гоготали с хохлов всем интернетом).
4. Хуйня за копейки ухохотала стратегическую авиацию за миллиарды рублей.

Ukraine hit at least four Russian airbases today.

Russian aircraft are burning at Belaya, Dyagilevo, Olenya, and Ivanovo.

The Ukrainian attack on Russian air bases has dealt a severe blow to Moscow. Several of its strategic bombers have been destroyed.
I doubt that Russia will respond more severely than it is already doing, but today's attack has awakened more Russian citizens to the fact that the war is also being fought in their cities. That is going to increase civilian support for it.
What we are very likely to see is the opening of a new front this summer, as the war of attrition continues on the eastern front.

Ukraine launched this attack with fpv drones, that means all their targets have been recorded and we can see the footage clearly.

Based on it any claims beyond that which we have visual evidence of can easily be written off as exaggeration.

If you call to nuke Ukraine because they destroyed some strategic bombers then you are absolutely crazy and you'll be banned from here.

Nothing justifies killing hundreds of thousands if not millions of people especially destroying a few planes.

What will Russian response be? I don't know, I know what it should be.
