Instead of taking the usual route through the Mediterranean and Red Sea, the USS George H.W. Bush is sailing the much longer route around Africa to reach the Persian Gulf.

The detour avoids Houthi-controlled waters like the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb.

Honestly I'm starting to wonder if we're headed to ww3 or simply headed to being poor...

My biggest reason to believe a 3rd world war is coming is due to the coming poverty...

Imagine a world where the Europeans make the same money Africans make and the costs are the same and the quality is the same, well suddenly the one with more people, cheaper resources, closer proximity, is the one who is going to sell better.

Europe is not in a good position when it comes to energy costs and proximity to markets.

In either case this is decades a way but its headed in that direction.

Salaries will fall and unemployment rate will rise.

It'll be much worse than 2008 and I wonder how the West and Asia will cope because they're the ones hit the hardest.

Why everyone saying that

Because the world is more balanced than it was 2 decades ago and the world is now multipolar, basically Europe and North America are no longer untouchable

I genuinely question if people in Europe have any shame...

Because we're being humiliated regularly and all we do is bite it in us and get screwed over.

If, hypothetically speaking, shame did exist.

It would be time to define values and goals, what do you want to do with your country?

If the answer is anywhere near survival and prosperity, a drastic shift of direction is needed.

In the end I will do what I can in my local community to teach values and knowledge but the reach I have is in the end limited compared to real power...
