These three women are normally too busy leading UN agencies in Uzbekistan to get together - but they will do it for you!

Join a special panel discussion with three leaders of United Nations structures in Uzbekistan on how gender equality is an important factor for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

— Women are increasingly being recognized as more vulnerable to climate change impacts than men.
— Women and girls are effective and powerful leaders and change-makers for climate adaptation and mitigation.
— Women and girls are involved in sustainability initiatives around the world, and their participation and leadership results in more effective climate action.

Topic: "Landmarks of European integration: from the Community of six to the Union of 27 member states".

• the European founding narratives,
• the start and first shaping of the European Communities,
• some treaty changes and their implications,
• supranational and intergovernmental forms of cooperation,
• the enlargement so far

Interesting fact about Amir Temur:
🔹He was born in 1336 the village of Khodja-Ilgar, near Shakhrisabz
🔹He was a military leader and ruler who has played an important role in the history of Central, South and West Asia
🔹Over the years, he created a huge empire through victories in military campaigns
🔹He ruled the state for thirty-five years
🔹 In Uzbekistan's history, Amir Temur has gone down as a patron of the arts. The renowned architecture of Samarkand largely dates to Amir Temur's reign
🔹Known as Tamerlane in Western culture
