I remember wanting to make something like asciinema, then I found out someone already made it.
Next video is being recorded in asciinema and will be released soon.

Here's today's session, but you have to use asciinema to play it. The file is too big to be able to convert it into gif or svg; even though it's just 18MiB for about 48mins.

You could use this command (after you installed asciinema) to play it:

asciinema play -s 3 LiveCoding-webpp-2020-Feb-8.cast

Change the "-s 3" for changing the speed.

And make sure to play it in full screen and if it's messy, try to make your terminal's font smaller until it fits.
This is me converting the asciicasts to gifs. So horrible! I might need the source code of asciicast2gif in order to make this work.
Show them this when anyone said using nodejs instead of C++ is a good idea! 😒
Yep, that's how I'm gonna fix this! 😎
Now, let's see!
Media is too big

asciicast converted into mp4 (with no timing involved, this looks fake!)

Here's today's live coding session.
Play it in fullscreen with this command:

asciinema play -s 5 LiveCoding-webpp-2020-Feb-11.cast

Next session will have more debugging since the project is now compilable but doesn't run well.

I am also looking forward into any suggestion that would help me convert these kinda recordings into an actual mp4/gif/mkv/... file. And even a real live coding with the help of these tools in terminal.

Tell me if you have a good solution for these problems, or I have to work toward creating my own solution which would take a while to code, prepare, setup, and work with.

Oh by the way, I used elinks as the browser for research in this one so you know this is real. I'm not doing anything behind the scene. This is the whole thing 😁
Is there a prison for bugs so we can throw them into jail for appearing in our code without concession?

This session includes lots of debugging using the good old fashion gdb in the command line. Well, the whole thing is in the command line.

Enjoy this one, the bug was in front of me the whole time. A function didn't run because of a useless constexpr if statement that should've been a simple static_assert.
