As we work towards global expansion, we’ve refined our strategy for the 125MB Forever Free, Starter, and Advanced Plans. 🙈

What’s Changing?
Previously, our Free Plan offered unlimited Parked Domains, Subdomains, and Databases, similar to our Starter and Advanced Plans. However, we realized that offering these features on the Free Tier was unfair to those on Paid Plans.

Why the Change?
Unlike other web hosting providers focused solely on profits, we’re committed to delivering true value. 😎 Maintaining our infrastructure isn’t cheap, and it requires a significant budget. To continue providing exceptional service, we’ve decided to limit our 125MB Free Plan to 1 Parked Domain and 1 Subdomain. 🫢

Updates to Paid Plans
Starter Plan: Now renamed the Micro Plan, it includes 1 Parked Domain, 10 Subdomains, and 10 Databases. Given its 3GB of storage, we believe this name better reflects its capacity.
Advanced Plan: Now called the Pro Plan, we’ve increased its storage from 10GB to 25GB. If you’re currently on this plan, you’ll see the upgrade reflected in your account automatically.

What’s Staying the Same?
We haven’t changed our prices, ensuring that our services remain affordable for as many people as possible. Also, rest assured, we’ll never drop our Free Plan—despite any doubts—because it’s an integral part of our web hosting philosophy and infrastructure.

Russian Language Has Arrived 🇷🇺

About a month ago, we posted an update about converting to a multilingual platform by introducing the Romanian 🇷🇴 language. We also promised that the next step would be introducing Russian, and now it's live!

Currently, our platform is available in three languages: English, Russian, and Romanian.

As we mentioned before, the reason for adding Romanian and Russian first is to help Moldovan citizens feel comfortable 🌻 using our platform.
People in Moldova primarily speak two languages, and our support team is located here as well 😏

It’s been a tough and time-consuming process to ensure the quality of the translation, but we’re happy to announce that the task is complete 🤟

Of course, there are many more languages to add, and we've already started working on it. Soon, we'll be introducing more languages based on analytic ✨ data to better understand which language group have higher priority.

Until now, our platform supported manual backups, which could eat up your disk space.
For instance, if your account was 50% full, performing a manual backup would take up another 50% of your space.

We’ve set up a dedicated file-server to store your backups separately, keeping them safe even in case of disasters.

❗️IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your data is completely safe.
Google does not have access to any files, as our dedicated servers are encrypted at both the hardware and software levels, utilizing enhanced disk and RAM data encryption.

Recently, we faced a critical challenge when two of our crucial IP addresses, hosted by Google Cloud, were temporarily suspended. This unexpected situation occurred despite our long-standing partnership with Google Cloud and the extensive trust we’ve placed in their infrastructure.

To us, this was nothing short of madness, and we want to address the matter openly and transparently.

❓What Happened?

Google's Abuse Team flagged our IPs and account, claiming involvement in cryptocurrency mining - a claim that is entirely false. WebHostMost has never been involved in any form of illegal activity, let alone something as egregious as violating Google’s policies.

Over the past year, we’ve consistently addressed any suspicious activity promptly, maintaining a spotless record throughout 2024. Yet, without notice or sufficient explanation, these IPs were abruptly suspended, leaving our services impacted for almost 24 hours.

Despite countless messages to Google's team, their replies lacked clarity, timelines, or substantive explanations, leaving us in the dark. This situation undermined the reputation we’ve tirelessly built and caused unwarranted disruptions to your services.

🤔 What Have We Learned?

This incident has been a wake-up call, prompting us to reevaluate our infrastructure to ensure such events can never disrupt our services again.

🚀 Our Action Plan for the Future:

Global Infrastructure Diversification

🌍 We are restructuring our hybrid infrastructure by diversifying all servers across independent, reputable data centers worldwide. Each server will operate independently within its own dedicated data center, ensuring complete autonomy and resilience.

⚡️ Nameservers will be split across two independent data centers. If one nameserver encounters an issue, the second will remain fully operational, independent of any master server dependencies.
