• Ensures code is well designed, testable, maintainable, scalable, and supportable.
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
Requirements:
• +3 years of experience in front-end development.
• Understanding of key design principles.
• Strong Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of semantic markup and proficiency in modern CSS, including respective technologies and concepts: postcss, styled-components, SASS, CSS modules, functional CSS; you know what BEM and ITCSS.
• Experience with web services API integration (REST, JSON).
• Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES5, ES6) and React (hooks, context, redux/mobx).
• Practical experience with the following listed technologies will be a big plus: php, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.JS, static generation and server-side rendering.
• Hands-on experience with adopted or developed Design Systems / React-based Style Guides.
• Confident understanding of UI composition patterns and principles of building a shared UI library.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
