Changpeng Zhao announces a book, a memecoin with its title soars in price

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao announced the release of his book, "Freedom of Money." The print version in English and Chinese will be out next week, with its Chinese title being "Binance Life."

After Zhao's post on X, the price of a memecoin called "币安人生" (Binance Life), which is not affiliated with the book, spiked approximately 20% at the moment but later returned to its previous levels.

"The Chinese title '币安人生' is someone's memecoin. I think it fits quite well too. Very organic. I couldn't find a better Chinese title,"

- he wrote on X.

Zhao added that he may share excerpts from the book in the coming days and will donate the proceeds from sales to charity.

Binance has strengthened its position as a key venue for large trades — the total open interest in Bitcoin and Ethereum futures has reached around $30 billion.
