How Web3.0 Protects Your Digital Identity
📞 How often have you received calls from scammers employees of bank fraud prevention department asking for your private data? This happens due to the leakage (and sometimes even sale) of your personal data. Web3.0 offers a new approach to digital identity by putting control of your data keys in your hands through blockchain and decentralization.
🌐 One solution to this issue is NFTs. They serve as certificates with various types of credentials, such as education degrees or licenses. This ensures that ownership rights are verified, transparent, and secure. Web3 domains will also enhance data control with decentralized identifiers (DID) stored on the blockchain. They can be used for authentication and access management — like a supercharged username and password.
⚙️ But there are technical challenges as well. The main issue is the lack of compatibility for digital identifiers across different ecosystems. Industries need to develop common standards and protocols so that one day we can seamlessly connect and travel across blockchains, as if we had a decentralized visa-free system.
What data would you trust to store on the blockchain, and what would you prefer to keep offline?

How Interactivity Turned Web2.0 into a Party with No Consequences
🕺 When pages stopped being static, the internet came to life. With the arrival of Web2.0, it ceased to be a dull place and turned into a full-on party, almost like one at P. Diddy’s. AJAX, JavaScript, and WebSockets made websites responsive, allowing them to instantly react to user actions. From that moment on, it became possible to update data and interact with elements on the page without reloading.
🍷 And what’s a party without music, strobe lights, and music videos? Right, it’s no party at all! That’s why HTML5 and CSS3 added interactivity: embedded video players, animations, and smooth transitions made the internet as vibrant and lively as Lady Gaga's costumes. RESTful API opened the doors to integration with external services, offering content tailored to your preferences — like the best bartender who always knows what to pour in your glass.
🔥 Thus, the interactive elements of Web2.0 not only changed our perception of the internet but also shaped new expectations for online interactions. We all hope that the future of the web, Web3.0, will continue to amaze us with new possibilities so that every session on the internet feels like a real party with no consequences.
What would you say was the key feature that made Web2.0 interesting and interactive for you?

Security Threats — What Should We Expect in Web3.0?
🛡 Security in the New Internet — With the shift to Web3.0, data leaks and some other vulnerabilities will become a thing of the past. However, advanced technologies bring both new challenges and a rethinking of old threats.
🧠 New Security Demands — As Uncle Ben once said: «With great power comes great responsibility». The burden of protecting assets now falls on the users' shoulders. For instance, losing your private keys will permanently block access to your account. Furthermore, access to the mempool allows attackers to front-run transactions, manipulate gas fees, and embed counter-transactions.
🐶 Smart Contracts — These enable blockchain transaction automation but come with risks: errors in their code can be VERY expensive. For example, the DeFi platform Euler lost nearly $200 million due to a smart contract flaw. Old threats like phishing have also evolved. Attackers now employ cryptojacking, turning your devices into «miners under forced labor».
💡 Simple Steps to Protect Your Assets:
⚪️ Inspect the Code — Ensure the smart contract’s source code is publicly available and audited by independent experts.
⚪️ Research the Project — Review the team’s reputation and community feedback.
⚪️ Test in a Sandbox — Start with small amounts to evaluate the contract’s reliability.
How do you evaluate the security of projects before interacting with them?

The game on Your Terms starts with .ton!
💣 We’ve already discussed the impact of Web3.0 on the internet. Now, let's take a look at the advantages of TON domains. You can already open websites and DeFi apps in Telegram with a .ton address. With low fees, lightning-fast transactions and Telegram's support, these domains are not just practical, but also a smart financial tool! Who said blockchain can’t be fast and cheap?
💜 Want the name Cypherpunk🌐 or to set up an NFT gallery like Tretyakovka🌐 ? No problem! The blockchain securely stores your data, and only you have access to it. No outside interference or blocking—just freedom and security.
💙 In the near future, biometrics will become your personal key to managing assets. This will elevate security to a whole new level, and you’ll be able to sleep soundly knowing your information and domain are well-protected, while your site is impregnable to hacks and blockages. Control and freedom in one package — wasn’t that the dream all along?
So, what do you think will be the most reliable for authentication in TON: a fingerprint, facial recognition, or perhaps a smile?

Yahoo! — A Pioneer of the Internet and Its Legacy
🧠 Founded in 1994, Yahoo! was the first «all-in-one» service, offering news, email, forums, and a search engine. Fun fact: the exclamation mark was added to differentiate it from a sauce brand with the same name.
💰 Yahoo! experienced phenomenal success in the '90s. However, the company quickly moved away from innovation, while Google continued to introduce groundbreaking technologies. With the arrival of Facebook and YouTube, Yahoo! began losing relevance even faster. Ultimately, it lost its leadership position forever.
⚠️ The Web3 era is gaining momentum. Telegram is expanding as an ecosystem every day, along with its massive and growing community. Founders and not only should learn background of predecessors to that their projects are not consigned to oblivion, but occupy top positions.
How can Telegram avoid Yahoo!'s fate and remain a leader in the Web3 era?

The Dark Side of TON — Real Stories of Hacks and Deception
🥷 In the fast-paced world of blockchain, freedom, and digital currencies, every opportunity comes with its share of risks. Scams and hacks are an unavoidable part of any ecosystem. High-profile incidents serve as crucial lessons, reminding us to stay vigilant — here are some of the most notable and impactful examples.
📰 A striking example involves thousands of “Wallet” users on Telegram who received phishing messages from what appeared to be an official support channel. Scammers urged them to transfer funds to so-called “secure wallets”, enticing them with promises of doubling their money. The result? Another incident saw the TON account on X (Twitter) hacked, with scammers promoting a fake airdrop through a fraudulent link, duping unsuspecting users.
💙 How to protect yourself: Always ask, “Is this too good to be true?” If it feels suspicious, trust your instincts. Ignore spam NFTs that may show up in your wallet — they’re a common tool for scammers. Double-check transaction amounts at every step, and even if a message comes from a trusted account, verify its authenticity by reaching out to the sender through a different channel. Stay cautious and alert.
