Scripts are taking over the .ton domain market
Todayβs auction for
π Hereβs what happened: One script was sniping bids ~5 minutes before the end, another was pushing ~30 minutes earlier. The bidding war escalated with minimal bid steps β alongside real users fighting manually.
This wasnβt just any domain: it was minted alongside names like
π£ The takeaway is clear: The best names are becoming scarce and expensive. Entering the market now means competing not only with people β but with bots.
But for those with patience and strategy, this market will still deliver loud winsπ

All Moves Recorded: webdom Tested for Strength
π Our marketplace has come a long way β from an idea to early tests and now a full-fledged platform. The final stage is here: a smart contract audit.
The review is in full swing. Weβre not disclosing the completion date yet, but hereβs the key point: after two weeks of auditing, not a single error has been found. Every transaction runs smoothly, the contracts withstand the load, and the foundation of webdom works exactly as it should.
π But this is only the beginning. Ahead β full audit details, new insights, and the next step in the marketplaceβs evolution.

The Final Frontier: Why Itβs Crucial for webdom to Leave Beta
π Since March 3, weβve been perfecting webdom day by day: fixing hundreds of bugs, adding new features, and making the domain market more convenient and alive. Itβs taken a lot of effort, time, and resources β but the result is worth it.
π Now weβre at the final stage β leaving beta. And this is not just a formality. While webdom remains in beta, the TON Foundation cannot officially support us, which means the domain market is still missing the strength it deserves.
π₯ Weβve already proven that webdom is ready for the next step:
β Smart contract audit has revealed zero errors after two weeks of testing;
β Transactions run smoothly, even under heavy load;
β The community uses the marketplace every single day.
βοΈ And most importantly: webdom is the first TON marketplace built on Tolk. We were the first to bring domains onto next-level smart contracts βοΈ
Exiting beta is a signal to the entire market: webdom is not just a platform β itβs the foundation of TONβs domain economy. We were the first, we remain the first, and weβll keep strengthening that leadership.

What Will Change After webdom Leaves Beta
π£ Today, webdom processes trades smoothly, with zero critical errors found during the entire smart contract audit, and users rely on the marketplace every day. But the Β«betaΒ» status still remains a limitation β for both users and the platform itself.
π What the new status will bring:
1οΈβ£ Users will gain full confidence in the security of their trades and the reliability of webdomβs infrastructure.
2οΈβ£ webdom and the entire WEB3 project will be able to receive official support from the TON ecosystem.
3οΈβ£ Trust in the platform and the TON domain market will grow, opening new opportunities for integrations and expansion.
πͺ The audit is in its final stage β the report is being compiled. This step will mark the transition to a new chapter of development.

webdom officially exits beta
π₯ The audit is complete, and the report is in! Our smart contracts on Tolk have passed an independent review. During the audit, one critical issue was found and immediately fixed. Final result: no vulnerabilities.
π Weβve been waiting for this moment since March: hundreds of bugfixes, new features, stress tests, migration of contracts to Tolk, and a month-long audit are now behind us. Today, webdom is a fundamental and reliable product within the TON ecosystem.
π Official confirmation from the auditors:
π£ Contracts are safe from external message attacks.
π£ Balances cannot be drained via gas exploits or unsafe calls.
π£ A robust mechanism for deal finalization and fund return is in place.
π£ Only proven TON constructions are used.
π£
π£ Our contracts on Tolk are open source:
github.com/webdom-market/webdom-contracts
π The audit was prepared by a team with experience in TON and TVM, also the creators of @bidask β V3 DEX on TON:
π£ Auditor: @rends_east
π£ Technical blog: @TheOpenDevBlog
π£ Team channel: @TheOpenDevTeam
π£ Full audit report: https://t.me/TheOpenDevTeam/15
For us, this is a new chapter. For users, itβs greater confidence that the TON domain market is being built on a solid foundation.

Transparency and security first
During the review of webdom smart contracts, a critical vulnerability was discovered in the auction logic.
π Hereβs the scenario: after an auction ended, it could be spammed with transactions that drained the contract balance. In this case, the winnerβs bid could be lost, and the domain would remain stuck inside the contract. The funds were not transferred to any wallet β they were simply consumed as gas.
Key points:
π£ No user funds were lost.
π£ The vulnerability was never exploited.
Measures taken:
π£ We have compiled a list of all users with active auctions, contacted them directly and asked them to withdraw the domains from the auction. All the domainers responded promptly.
π£ The code was fixed and the vulnerability closed.
π£ A repeat verification was conducted.
π All contracts are now fully secure. This case confirms the effectiveness of audits and reflects our position: only open handling of vulnerabilities builds trust and makes the product stronger.
