When we said investment, we try to let money working for us to earn more money. Think of it like a passive income. We working/checking on it normal but it can generate income, profit and capital gains for us.
When we put our time into it more, it is become like a work/job or our own small biz so we need to get our salary.
In crypto think of airdrop farming as a work/job and at the end you must get salary back. And salary similar to the outside world too. It is depend on your skill. The more skill you has the more salary you get.
This is my 2024 airdrop so far for 5months. May be around 800$/month average. And yes I spend some time and gas fee to get that but it is the same as we go to work spend time and pay for gasoline by ourselves too.
Remember that this airdrops donβt count rewards from CEX launchpool/launchpad. Donβt count rewards from layer3 around 350$ so far. Donβt count any yield I get from DeFi. I count only the airdrops
Investment is the other way around. A good example as my 3rd picture which is my Auto invest in Binance since around Q3 of 2022. That one just need a foundation knowledge, put some work of research into some project then set and forget. Wait for a good market condition to start DCA out.
We spend less time but we can generate profit and also capital gains too.

2023 i donβt document detail all the airdrop but i add only the big airdrop i get.
If we count it for 12months to get around 6500$ for current price. My salary for 2023 was around 500$/month only.
So I just raise my salary in airdrop from 500$/month to 800$/month in 1 year.
And donβt forget there are still big 3 airdrop like $Avail, $ZK, $LZO too. So by the end of this year may be my average salary is 1000$/month in airdrop farming.
