The market is NOT dead. But it has become brutally selective.

A few numbers worth knowing:

🇺🇸 US unemployment: 4.1%
The broader job market is relatively stable - so crypto's pain isn't simply a global unemployment crisis.

💀 7,200+ crypto jobs cut in 2026
Layoffs are still happening across established crypto companies.

📉 Crypto hiring is down sharply YoY
H1 2026 data shows a major contraction in crypto job-posting activity.


Because the problem isn't simply “not enough jobs.”

It's mismatch.

Companies are increasingly hiring for roles directly tied to:

Telegram Security Alert

Over the past year, a lot of our crypto friends and even our Jaya Talent team have gotten hacked. Some of us multiple times. Looks like Korean hackers having fun with us. Guys, please don't send us your hackers' CVs and booking links, haha 😅

Here are some tips on what to avoid.

Real Talk on Recovery
In most cases, you can't recover your hacked Telegram - it's just gone. You can delete it. Channels can only be moved if you know someone at Telegram personally. Emails to support won't work. You can send a thousand emails and get nothing back. Direct contact is the only way.

How the Hack Works
1. You get a Calendly booking link from a "potential client" or friend
2.They ask you to jump on a call earlier than planned and send a Microsoft Teams link
3. Call has real video but no audio. They ask you to paste a code in terminal to fix it
4. You paste it. Your credentials get stolen. You don't find out for days or weeks.
5. They use emotional manipulation: audio stays broken, they say reschedule. Now there are multiple people on the call watching you struggle. You feel the pressure - oh man, no audio, and they all think I'm stupid. The shame hits harder. You forget about it and move on.
6. Days/weeks later your password changes even with 2FA because they're already in your desktop. They change emails, remove your phone number, add themselves
7. Malwarebytes won't catch them. Even the paid version misses it
8. You need someone to delete your account before they keep scamming. Reset your Mac to factory settings to be safe. Check your active sessions constantly. They're super fast. It's stressful, especially if you saved keys and sensitive stuff in your TG saved messages.

How to Protect Yourself
• Never run scripts or paste code in terminal from calls or DMs. Don't download unexpected .png, .exe, or PowerShell updates from DMs or groups
• Have a policy in your company: no call bookings via Telegram. Only email. Even very senior folks with a lot of crypto exp got hacked
• Turn on passkeys and strong cloud passwords in Telegram - but they hack from desktop anyway, so it won't save you much
• Don't use Telegram web. Mobile app only.
Disconnect old crypto bots and mini-apps you're not using actively
• Ask people to share booking details only via official email, never TG
• Use Google Meet for calls
• Don't paste anything in terminal. Ever.
