BREAKING: Multi-billionaire and Telegram founder Pavel Durov has just announced Step 4 of the MTONGA operation, marking a major rebranding milestone as TON’s native currency will now be known as Gram.
Toncoin’s original name was Gram in the first whitepaper, and as Telegram’s TON returns to its roots and begins a new chapter, the native currency will be renamed from Toncoin back to Gram.
The transition is expected to take 3 weeks, while TON will remain the name of the blockchain.
