Vice President Vance and Prime Minister Modi announced the Terms of Reference for a U.S.–India Bilateral Trade Agreement. This follows Modi's February 13 visit to President Trump, where they launched negotiations and the "U.S.-India COMPACT" ( Catalyzing Opportunities for Military Partnership, Accelerated Commerce & Technology)initiative.
The new agreement aims to boost cooperation, increase market access, reduce trade barriers, and deliver early results in 2025.
