Infosys Announces the much awaited deal with Daimler; also takes over few employees globally
• Infosys has announced a large deal with Daimler AG, also taking over its employees in Germany, US and APAC region.
• Daimler AG will transform its IT operating model and infra, across workplace services, service desk, data center, networks and SAP
• The deal also involves migration to a smart hybrid cloud, using Infosys Cobalt
• Employee rebadging: As a part of the deal, Daimler employees ( number not disclosed - could be 500-600) based out of Germany, EU, US and APAC region will transition from Daimler AG to Infosys.
