Key raw materials viz. Benzene and Propylene prices have remained flat
DN derives ~60% of its overall EBIT from phenolic business. DN earnings are sensitive to phenol spreads as Rs1/kg increase in spreads positively impact earnings by 1.8%.

- Mitsui Chemicals to Close Phenol Plant at Ichihara Works, announced few days back (large capacity)
- LG Chem Announces Shutdown of Phenol and Acetone Production in Daesan in Feb 2024
