In 2008 - Smallcap Index made high of 6000 & it Took almost 10 years to break that High

In 2018 - Smallcap index broke 6000 and made high of around 9700 in year 2018 which was 61% Rise

In 2020 - Smallcap index corrected till 3200

Again in 2022 - Smallcap index crossed 9700 in jan 2022 and than corrected till 7800 - 7900 zone approx

Recently made ATH of 12054
Now @ 11920

Our study & view Small cap index final top expected to be around 16k-17k till 2026-27 which would be 62% from its last top 9700 made in 2018.

However in these period we can see many many short term corrections

2⃣ Just like PLI in IT products, PLI in base chemicals is expected soon though timelines are unknown.

3⃣ China is trying desperately hard to stimulate its economy - whether they will be successful or not is up for debate but for now one is starting to see traction in base chemical prices as well like Phenol acetone, caustic soda and soda ash.

4⃣ Commodity Chemicals as a segment has consolidated for long - although the specialty chemicals space will take longer to recover, commodity chemicals can exhibit a quicker turnaround.

Looks interesting. Is it happening or bears hitting back down again. Only time shall tell.

However to be noted that in last 1 to 1.5 year almost 5-6 attempts were made to breakout but failed.
Chances happening this time looks bright.

Reason many were bearish on IT but simultaneously stocks were getting accumulated at lower levels.
