The index faced resistance from the previous hurdle and remained rangebound during the day.
Resistance noted at 22,525, with critical support at 22,300.
Bank Nifty:
The index after a gap up open remained rangebound throughout the day.
Resistance identified at 48,000, critical support at 47,000.
Midcap and Smallcap:
Both Midcap and Smallcap witnessed strength and continued to move higher throughout the day up by 1.74% and 3.26% respectively.
Key support levels at 48,600 for Nifty Midcap 100 and 15,500 for Nifty Smallcap 100.
PCR (Put-Call Ratio):
Reflecting positive sentiment, Nifty at 0.97 and Bank Nifty at 1.08.
Notable options include Nifty 22,500 Call and 22,300 Put, Bank Nifty 48,000 Call and 47,000 Put.
Sectoral Performance:
