Some Flutter-based questions I remember from an interview with a well-known fintech company (not a recent one). Honestly, the questions were quite basic and a little unexpected 😅:
1 What do you use for state management and why?

2 Local database options (Hive vs SQLite).

3 Difference between stateful and stateless widgets.

4 Difference between Future and Stream.

Just sharing in case it helps someone preparing 👨‍💻🚀

before u even touch the keyboard, grab a pen & paper and do this checklist (trust me, saves you from headache later 😂)…

1. git init first
version control from day one.
and yeah, throw your secrets (keys, configs) in .gitignore.


2. pick your architecture
feature-based, clean arch, whatever.
just decide early so your code doesn’t turn into noodles later.


3. plan your screens & states
write down what pages you need, how you’ll manage state, and how users will flow through the app.


4. navigation setup
I roll with GoRouter → clean & future-proof.
pick yours and lock it in.


5. add your packages
drop everything you’ll need into pubspec.yaml now.
saves “oh wait I need this” moments later.


6. set the base vibe
themes, colors, constants, env configs, APIs…
get all that sorted before jumping to features.

then start building... this way u avoid messy codes and later rework.. trust me
learned this the hard way, don’t be me 😂

no matter how bad life gets there is always something good. you have to focus on the good.

This is what I learned… learn at ur own pace. let them finish in 2 min, take your 2 years. ur only competition? the peak of what u can do. forget everyone else..
