Today our first guest is representing our [WaveCast] Vol. 8! 🔥

@theoriginalkerouac has been making tunes for 23 years now.
Started off on a hardware setup and playing live performances.
Had remixes out respected techno labels Hypercolour and Treibstoff.
In 2016 he started a duo Kerouac & smile and their very 1st gig was Fabric room 1!
This being the 1st time Kerouac had ever DJed!😎

In 2019 he formed KRS Two, another duo. Which picked up loads of dj support on their tracks across the scene.
Kerouac decided to go solo again at the end of 2021, resulting in an Ep for E-Numbers, a Bodymovement VA, and a track on Gene On Earth's Nug-net vinyl VA series.

@leahmarie_music (Late Night Music) is a DJ/producer from Melbourne, Australia, currently based in Berlin. Since jumping behind the decks in 2019, Leah has become a key player in Australia’s Progressive House scene. Leah’s progressive and melodic sounds often encompass deep, organic, hypnotic, emotive and often tribal/ethereal elements. Deep, driving grooves are what she’s all about.

Leah plays regularly across Melbourne’s underground club scene and most iconic venues. Since moving across the globe she has played for international festivals including DSCNNCT and Amsterdam Dance Event.

@leahmarie_music has had the pleasure of supporting world class artists such as Emanual Satie, Simon Doty, Denney, DJ Ruby, Yotto, Cassian, Andhim, Enamour, Michael Mayer, Matan Caspi and prog-god,Guy J, amongst others. Last year she released her first remix with James Beetham on Late Night Music and later in 2023 released on Massive Harmony Records. She has more exciting releases in store for 2024.

Originally from LA, John grew up in the underground warehouse party scene in Seattle in the early 90's. A drummer and an avid fan of all things musical with early influences by the rhythm sections of classic rock, hip hop, ska, industrial, avantgarde, the west coast dance music sounds of Jeno, Garth and the Wicked crew.
Drawing inspiration from the early Uk tech house pioneers and a member of LA's The Coastal Commision and ex vinyl peddler from Beat non Stop, John Kimble started playing and collecting records in 1994 and remains faithful to the craft of long seamless mixes to create a unique sound and a hypnotic listening experience.

My name is @nick-rodger. I'm a music junkie, obsessed with sci-fi and soundscapes. Looking back, I've probably been collecting and blending music since I was about 7.

Growing up in Newcastle, UK, where in years past, house and techno nights where a weekly draw for people from across the UK. Mixing music for me was probably inevitable. I bought my first belt drive turntables at 16 after years of bootlegging and cutting cassette tapes for friends and never looked back. Since 2000, I've played records for people up and down the UK, and am currently resident dj for 2 high profile online stations, Subcode and Progressive House UK. My monthly The Void show encompasses everything from ambient to electro to d&b. I play pretty much everything!

After more than 20 years of mixing, it's a habit that refuses to let me go. Expect to hear music I love, music that connects me to the cosmos. Music for lonely places and distant spaces. The bpm has been dialled down slightly, for home listening 😅 I hope you enjoy!

Just out of curiosity, this fella costna began to explore what lies beneath the surface. By delving deeper and deeper into the sandbox, he found the warm protection of mother earth's underground. Driven by that feeling, he ventured away from sunlight into the soggy depths of caves and the ruggedness of shotcrete. To him, there isn't anything more beautiful than a tunnel. When the sentiment is right, you better take the chance. Following this impetus led him to become a quater of Studio Wellness - what truly stands for what it stands for.

Music speaks louder than words. It is easier to understand Rory James from the moods forged by his consuming sound. Inspired mainly by being exposed to a plethora of DJs with varying styles and genres during the early days of the international DJ movement in NYC, Rory has developed his own signature skillset and approach to laying the building blocks of a DJ set.

With almost two decades of experience DJing in the NYC circuit, having one of the most consistent followings throughout the years and finding time to mentor up & coming hungry talents, it’s easy to understand why an array of clubbers have referred to him as ‘NY’s best kept secret.’
