[WM] !!! Thank you to all who participated in the Hurricane Drill Game. It was really cool to see everyone come together to offer skills and draw from our shared resources. Having a refresher on spaces that could be available to host pop up hubs, flexing our logistic muscles and making connections all felt really necessary and needed. Also just practicing on Telegram for folks who aren’t super familiar with using this app.
- I’ve been thinking about how similar versions of this game could be used for all different scenarios that we would want to prepare for. If anyone is excited to make their own game in that vein, let us know how it goes ! or dm us if you want any input or help with it
- It would be great to talk about what worked and what didn’t, this was our first run through so there’s definitely room for improvement.

A tornado has touched down in the greater New Orleans area, confirmed in Holy Cross, Gretna, lower 9, St. Charles, and moving through Chalmette now. Please stay safe, have a tornado plan, and look out for each other! Mutual aid will be mobilizing when it's safe to move. Many places have lost power, please be safe around the debris.

GNOCC's response will begin tomorrow morning with volunteers.
