Overnight into Sept 20, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Moscow refinery in Kapotnya. Two primary distillation units were likely hit, ELOU-AVT-6 and Euro+, together covering 100% of primary capacity, so processing may be halted.

In June it took two raids two days apart. Now both lines were likely hit in one night 18 km from the Kremlin. Reuters later put repairs at 6+ months at best, some analysts not before 2027, so this likely hit freshly restored gear. Zelensky says a logistics site was hit too.

Zelensky says tonight’s Moscow region strike used FP-1, RZ-100, MICH-2000, Palyanytsia, Vendetta, Liutyi, Bars, Flamingo, Sichen, and Pelican.
