Ukraine’s intelligence says Russia’s data centers are starting to fall apart as aging gear fails and replacements are hard to get. The problem is hitting smaller commercial sites first, with about 20% of data centers affected. Fiber networks from the early 2000s are also wearing out.

RFI reports GRU General Andrei Averyanov was killed in an SBU drone strike on a Russian shadow fleet tanker in the Mediterranean. RFI says Ukraine hit two tankers, including Qendil, with 12 Russian intel officers onboard posing as sailors. Two more officers were killed and seven wounded.

Pilot Roman “Hulk” from the BULAVA unit used HORNET VISION Ctrl and a STING interceptor drone to down two Shaheds while operating from 500 km away.

Durov says Telegram is banned in Russia but 65M Russians still use it daily via VPNs. He claims VPN blocks triggered a major banking outage and cash briefly became the only payment method. Telegram will keep adapting to evade blocking, he adds.
