If you’ve found a bug that you’d like to report, you can do so on our community bug reporting platform.

Here’s some more: a bug that caused the time fuze to not set a distance when measuring the distance from the sights has been fixed, sudden brightness changes in the hangar and Air Battles will no longer bother you, and a bug that caused the award icons to not show in the after battle stats window under the “Awards” tab has been fixed as well.

The legendary Mi-24 made its maiden flight on September 19th 1969, 55 years ago. It remains one of the most widely used attack helicopters in the world to this day. More than 3,500 Mi-24s were produced, dozens of countries used it (and still do!), and it has taken part in more than 30 different armed conflicts.

▪️The Mi-24D is one of the fastest helicopters in the game. Its armor can withstand small-caliber weapons fire, and its machine gun can deal with lightly armored opponents. The S-24 rockets and Falanga ATGM with up to 650 mm armor penetration are particularly good to use!

The Yak-38 was the first Soviet vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft and first hovered in the air for the first time during testing on September 22nd 1970. This aircraft was built for service on the Project 1143 heavy aircraft carrier, and first landed on this type of ship in 1975. The Yak-38 was fully introduced and operated in only 1977, 231 Yak-38s were produced by 1989, and the aircraft was decommissioned in 2004.

Today, we’re ready to present to you the final version of the Vehicle Research Bonuses, which has just gone live today! For those of you who participated in the recent testing, the following changes have been made since then:
▪️The number of battles with a bonus has increased from 3 to 5;
▪️A 25% bonus has been added to ranks I-III;
▪️While a vehicle is considered new, the bonus does not apply to it;
▪️The bonus will stay active for all remaining vehicles in a tree even if you have the top vehicle unlocked;
▪️The bonus now applies to the top vehicle in each nation as well. Due to this we’ve dropped “new nations” in the name of the bonus. It has instead been renamed to Vehicle Research Bonuses.

In this month’s Pages of History, you’ll be at the center of events that took place in different theaters of war. Belarus, the Philippines, Egypt and Hungary: take part in battles with the vehicles corresponding to these historic battles and receive prizes.
Richard Bong was the most successful American ace of World War II who shot down 40 enemy aircraft in his P-38 Lightning. Bong himself considered his accuracy to be poor, but he compensated for this with his audacity: he got as close to enemy aircraft as possible to make sure he hit them. At 22, he became a captain, at 23, a major, and at 24 for his heroism in the Battle of Leyte, he was awarded the Medal of Honor.
