Welcome the first domestic aircraft from Switzerland to the game through the addition of the player-made premium P-16 strike aircraft for Germany! Next up is China, who’s received the JF-17 squadron vehicle and Al-Khalid-I premium tank from Pakistan, plus the superb J-10A fighter jet. The USA now has the T1E1 with a 90 mm cannon, as well as the F-111F bomber and AV-8B (Night Attack) Harrier variant as a premium, plus the USS Tennessee battleship. The excellent Stormer AD has joined Great Britain as an SPAA, plus the Australian F-111C bomber, with the USSR getting the fast-firing Su-24M. Besides this, the CTWV RCV for Japan and CV9035NL for France are now obtainable squadron vehicles! Last but not least, France has now received their Coastal fleet tree now in closed testing, one interesting boat is the La Combattante that can fire SS.11 missiles!

This modification retained all the advantages of the Spitfire family, but received a more powerful Griffon engine and the ability to carry a 500 lb bomb. This aircraft was flown by the commander of the 414th Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force, James Prendergast, who conducted reconnaissance over Normandy before the Allied landings there.

On September 14th 1902, Nikolai Ilyich Kamov, a famous Soviet aircraft designer, was born. In 1929, together with Nikolai Skrzhinsky, he created the first Soviet autogyro, the KASKR-1 and in 1940, he headed his own helicopter design bureau, where the famous series of Ka helicopters was produced. Kamov and Skrzhinsky invented a Russian word to replace the word “helicopter”: “vertolyot”, an amalgamation of verbs “to spin” and “to fly”.

The YP-38 Makes a Temporary Return for the Anniversary of its First Flight!
On September 17th 1940, the YP-38, being the second prototype of Lockheed’s P-38, took to the air for the first time. Only 13 YP-38s were produced, with P-38s themselves mass-produced in the United States throughout WWII — more than 10,000 aircraft in total. Famous French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry also flew the P-38!

The legendary Mi-24 made its maiden flight on September 19th 1969, 55 years ago. It remains one of the most widely used attack helicopters in the world to this day. More than 3,500 Mi-24s were produced, dozens of countries used it (and still do!), and it has taken part in more than 30 different armed conflicts.
The Mi-24D temporarily returns to the game with a 30% discount!

▪️The Mi-24D is one of the fastest helicopters in the game. Its armor can withstand small-caliber weapons fire, and its machine gun can deal with lightly armored opponents. But its main advantage is its wide selection of secondary weapons. From gun pods, free-falling bombs to missiles and rockets. The S-24 rockets and Falanga ATGM with up to 650 mm armor penetration are particularly good to use!

The Yak-38 was the first Soviet vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft and first hovered in the air for the first time during testing on September 22nd 1970. This aircraft was built for service on the Project 1143 heavy aircraft carrier, and first landed on this type of ship in 1975. The Yak-38 was fully introduced and operated in only 1977, 231 Yak-38s were produced by 1989, and the aircraft was decommissioned in 2004.

Today, we’re ready to present to you the final version of the Vehicle Research Bonuses, which has just gone live today! For those of you who participated in the recent testing, the following changes have been made since then:
▪️The number of battles with a bonus has increased from 3 to 5;
▪️A 25% bonus has been added to ranks I-III;
▪️While a vehicle is considered new, the bonus does not apply to it;
▪️The bonus will stay active for all remaining vehicles in a tree even if you have the top vehicle unlocked;
▪️The bonus now applies to the top vehicle in each nation as well. Due to this we’ve dropped “new nations” in the name of the bonus. It has instead been renamed to Vehicle Research Bonuses.

The Boxer MGS is another combat vehicle from the Boxer family. This vehicle is on an all-wheel drive platform which is capable of accelerating the vehicle to speeds of over 100 km/h and features a Cockerill turret with a 105 mm gun and autoloader. The Boxer MGS can fire several types of ammunition, including a shaped-charge round, a HESH round and two APFSDS rounds including the powerful DM63 that can handle the armor of almost any tank at its rank.
