⚡️🇮🇷 Iranian Petrolium Minister Paknejad announced that Iran has discovered more than 7.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in southern Fars province, with around 5.7 trillion cubic feet considered recoverable at a 72% recovery rate.

Officials say the volume is equivalent to around 15 years of production from a single phase of the giant South Pars gas field. The gas is described as “sweet”, meaning it contains relatively little sulphur and should therefore be cheaper to process.

Iran also says the discovery includes significant gas condensate reserves worth tens of billions of dollars, potentially creating a major new source of revenue for the country.

Before Israel launched Operation Rising Lion (12 Days War) in June 2025, one dollar traded for approximately 837,000 rials, meaning the rial has since lost about 58% of its value.

⚡️🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces claim they destroyed 14 Russian military targets, including three aircraft — a Su-33, MiG-29 and Orion UAV — as well as eight radar systems and several air-defence systems.

The reported targets included an S-400 position near Gelendzhik, along with Tor and Pantsir systems. Eleven targets were reportedly located in Russia’s Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai, with three more in occupied Crimea. Ukrainian authorities have separately confirmed recent strikes on S-400 systems in Gelendzhik and occupied Crimea.

The victim was identified as Yanis Yushbayev, reportedly the head of a Caucasus-based organized crime group.

Police have launched an investigation and are searching for the suspects. The shooting is believed to have been criminally motivated.

🇸🇩❌🇸🇩🇹🇩 — The Chadian government has confirmed that its territory was attacked by Sudan following the Sudanese Air Force’s bombing of a logistics convoy belonging to the UAE-backed RSF rebels 100 km inside Chadian territory.

Since the beginning of the Sudanese civil war, Chad has been used as a logistical hub by the UAE, which has previously sent reinforcements and equipment through the country toward RSF-controlled areas.
