‏- (صيام يوم عاشوراء، أحتسبُ على الله أن يكفر السّنة التي قبله) محمد ﷺ.
‏- (فصامهُ رسول الله ﷺ وأمرَ بصيامه).
‏- (ما علمتُ أنّ رسول الله ﷺ صام يومًا يطلبُ فضْلهُ على الأيامِ إلا هذا اليوم) أي يوم عاشوراء! ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما.
‏- (لئن بقيتُ إلى قابل؛ لأصومنّ التاسع)! محمد ﷺ.

قال الإمام ابن رجب⁩ رحمه الله:
"فالصائم في ليله ونهاره في عبادة ويستجاب دعاؤه في صيامه وعند فطره فهو في نهاره صائم صابر وفي ليله طاعم شاكر

وفي الحديث الذي خرجه الترمذي وغيره قال ﷺ : “الطاعم الشاكر بمنزلة الصائم الصابر"

— لطائف المعارف

Imam Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:

« the fasting person is in a state of ibaadah during both his day and his night. His duas are accepted during the period that he is fasting from food and also during the period that he eats food (night). During the daytime he patiently fasts, and during the night he gratefully eats »

and in another hadith in tirmidhi, it was reported that the prophet ﷺ said: the individual who eats and is grateful (thanking Allah for His innumerable blessings) is of the same rank and has the same status as the one who fasts and is patient.”

« the one who has a mushaf must recite everyday of whatever is easy for him lest he be from those who've forsaken Qur’ān.»

﴿وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ القُرآنِ ما هُوَ شِفاءٌ وَرَحمَةٌ لِلمُؤمِنينَ وَلا يَزيدُ الظّالِمينَ إِلّا خَسارًا﴾

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day with a cheerful expression on his face, and we said: "We see you looking cheerful!”

He ﷺ said: “Verily an Angel came to me and said:

‘O Muhammad, your Lord says:

'Will it not please you (to know) that no one will send salaat upon you except that I will send salaat upon him tenfold, and no one will send salaam upon you but I will send salaam upon him tenfold?”

هذا النَّبيُّ الَّذي يَشتاقُ رُؤْيَتَنَا
‏ويَشهدُ الله كَمْ نَشتاقُ رُؤْيَاهُ

ٱللَّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

it was reported from abu huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the prophet ﷺ said:

« there are seven whom Allah will shade on a day when there is no shade but His. They are a just ruler, a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, one whose heart is attached to the mosques, two who love each other, meet each other, and depart from each other for the sake of Allah, a man who is tempted by a beautiful woman of high status but he rejects her, saying , ‘I fear Allah,’ and one who spends in charity and hides it such that his right hand does not know what his left hand has given, and one who remembered Allah in private and he wept.»

العمر قصير، واليوم منقَض، والساعات ذاهبة، والواجب كبير، والمهمة عظيمة، والطريق شاقة، والجزاء جزيل، والعاقبة مأمونة

"سيأتي العوض, العوض الذي لا نعلمُ مداهُ ولا نعرف حجم تدبيره فقط, نؤمنُ به كيفما كان وعلى أي شاكلةٍ أتى فقط لأنه من الله"

أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا رضى الله عنه عَنْ صِيَامِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ مَا كُنْتُ أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَرَاهُ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ صَائِمًا إِلاَّ رَأَيْتُهُ وَلاَ مُفْطِرًا إِلاَّ رَأَيْتُهُ، وَلاَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ قَائِمًا إِلاَّ رَأَيْتُهُ، وَلاَ نَائِمًا إِلاَّ رَأَيْتُهُ، وَلاَ مَسِسْتُ خَزَّةً وَلاَ حَرِيرَةً أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَلاَ شَمِمْتُ مِسْكَةً وَلاَ عَبِيرَةً أَطْيَبَ رَائِحَةً مِنْ رَائِحَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏

it was narrated from humaid: I asked anas about the fasting of the prophet and he said: «whenever I liked to see the prophetﷺ fasting in any month, I could see that, and whenever I liked to see him not fasting, I could see that too, and if I liked to see him praying in any night, I could see that, and if I liked to see him sleeping, I could see that, too.»


anas further said, « I never touched silk or velvet softer than the hand of Allah's messenger ﷺ and never smelled musk or perfumed smoke more pleasant than the smell of Allah's messenger ﷺ »

gentle reminder that today is the blessed day of friday. whether you are at home or at school or at work, make the most of the day through sending salawat on the prophet ﷺ, seeking forgiveness, reciting Quran and especially seek out the last hour of the day before maghreb 🤍

اللهم صل وسلم على نبينا محمد ﷺ

« there is no believing servant but that he has a sin he habitually commits from time to time, or a sin entrenched in him that he does not abandon until he departs the world. verily, the believer was created to be tested, both repenting and forgetful.»
— the prophet ﷺ

abu sa'id al-khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:

a man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "who is the best among men?" he ﷺ replied,
« a believer who strives in the way of Allah with his wealth and life»
the man asked again, "who is next to him (in excellence)?"

he ﷺ said, «next to him is a man who is engaged in worshipping his Lord in a mountain valley, having taqwa of Allah, and leaving the people safe from his evil »

- عشرة أسباب تجلب محبة الله تعالى:

اللهم دمر اليهود، وزلزلهم، والعنهم لعنًا كبيرًا، اللهم أرنا فيهم ما يشفِ صدور قوم مؤمنين، اللهم الطف بأهلنا في فلسطين، اللهم كن لهم مُعينًا ونصيرًا.

the dua of Muslims for their oppressed brothers is the embodiment and confirmation of Islamic brotherhood. by doing so, they are remembering and affirming their pain and affliction and also seeking their victory.

among the comprehensive sayings of the prophet, ﷺ is: “ o Allah, save the oppressed among the believers.” so include it in your dua for them and seek out the places (circumstances and times) where it will be answered.

sh.saleh al ‘osaymi

— ابن الجوزي، رحمه الله

'ubadah bin as-samit narrated that the messenger of Allah ﷺ said: « whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him. whoever is averse to meeting Allah, Allah is averse to meeting him.»

عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ ‏ « مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ»

Be known to Allah in times of ease and He will know you in times of hardship.
