it is reported that ʿuthmān b. ʿaffān رضي الله عنه– said: I do not like it that a day or night comes upon me without me looking at the speech of Allāh, (meaning reading from the muṣḥaf.)

al fudayl ibn ʿAyyāḍ رحمه الله said:

“Allah accepts only those deeds which are both correct and sincere (pure). If the deed is done correctly but not sincerely, it will not be accepted. And if it is sincere but not correct, it will not be accepted.” He was asked, “Abū ‘Alī! What is the sincere and correct deed?” He replied, “The sincere deed is one that is done only for Allah ‘azza wa jall. And the correct deed is one done according to the Sunnah.”

every friday is an opportunity for us to seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent. an opportunity to show our gratitude to Allah. an opportunity to pray for guidance and acceptance of our deeds. let’s not be from those who do not benefit from this blessed day.

send salawat on the prophet ﷺ , complete the sunan of jummuah, and seek out saa’tul istijabah ❣️

[ don’t forget to make dua for the ummah in sudan, palestine, our uyghur brothers and sisters, and those oppressed and needy all over the world ]

A reminder to fast the white days of the month Dhul Qi’dah:

13th day - 21st of May
14th day - 22nd of May
15th day - 23rd of May

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Fasting three days of each month is fasting for a lifetime, and ayyam al-beed are the 13th, 14th and 15th." [An-Nasa’i, 2420].

If you cannot fast, you may still gain reward by guiding someone else and reminding them to fast. Do not miss out.

An important reminder to anyone who wishes to make up their fasts from Ramadan during the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah:

A mistake many make is combining the intention of their missed fasts from Ramadan with voluntary fasts such as Mondays & Thursdays, or any other virtues day.

This is incorrect, and one must not combine what is an obligatory act with that which is voluntary.

Whoever wishes to make up their fasts during these 10 days should do so as it we are in a موسم الخير and a limited number of days. However, one should not combine their fast from Ramadan with the fast of يوم العرفة in order to obtain the reward of this blessed day.

I ask Allah He aids us, and gives us the ability and success to make the most out of these 10 days. I advise myself first and foremost and you all, to enter this month with التوبة النصوح having repented to Allah sincerely for all that has passed and all that which you have transgressed against yourself and Allah. I advise myself and you all to turn back to Allah with a heart yearning and seeking Him out alone, humbly submitting yourself to His commands and protecting yourself from His prohibitions. Keep your tongue busy with His remembrance, with the recitation of His speech, with supplicating to Him. Do not waste such precious moments in idle talk, in harmful thoughts or actions.

This is an opportunity to make up for all that has passed you by from good deeds, and it is an opportunity to have our necks freed from the hellfire.

from now until the day of ‘arafah, make dua to Allah that He aids you to have a present heart when making dua, and that He inspires you to have complete certainty when making dua to him, as there is nothing that is far too great for Allah, and He is capable of all. remember that standing up on your prayer mat, and reciting dhikr, and raising your hands in dua is not what is most difficult, but what is important is the presence of your heart and everything surrounding it

“ sins weaken your journey to Allah, and deprive you of the sweetness of worship. among the greatest things that bring you back to the path of obedience are: repentance, seeking forgiveness, praying with tranquility and humility, reading the Qur’an, and frequent dhikr... and just like that, it is also not one of the conditions in the journey to Allah that you are to be free of sins; as there is none of us who does not sin or have shortcomings, but beware of becoming persistent with sinning.”

— abdulaziz as-shitri
The messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are no days during which the righteous action is more pleasing to Allah than these days (i.e., the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah)." He was asked: "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah?" He (ﷺ) replied, "Not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah, except in case one goes forth with his life and his property and does not return with either of it."

— Sahih Al-Bukhari 1249

so increase in doing good deeds in these days, and from the best of them is the remembrance of Allah through dhikr and quran 🤍

we have reached the day of arafah, a day in which it is hoped that the supplications of those who pray and make dua will be answered, especially those who are fasting, so pray to Allah and make dua for yourselves, your parents, your family, and others who have a special or general right towards you, like your shaykhs, your friends, your neighbors, your rulers, and all other muslim men and women.

do not ask the sons of adam for a need, but ask the One whose doors never shut

Allah gets angry when you do not ask Him, and the sons of Adam
get angry when they are asked

Eid Mubarak to all of you here 🤍
May Allah accept from you all of your good deeds and actions, and make you from those who see their duas accepted. May Allah make us from those who leave these seasons of worship with an even bigger resolve to continue worshipping Allah sincerely and with determination.
