« Surely those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then remain steadfast, the angels descend upon them, ˹saying,˺ “Do not fear, nor grieve. Rather, rejoice in the good news of Paradise, which you have been promised. »

قال شيخنا محمّد الشنقيطِي -وفقهُ الله-: ليسَ هناك محبَّة أصدق من محبَّـة الله -عزَّ وجل-، *وليسَ هناك أحدٌ يحبّ على الحقيقةِ كمحبَّة العبد لربِّه*، ومهمَا أحببت شيئًـا فأنتَ مغالٍ فيه إلَّا الله -تعالَى-، فإنك مهمَا أحببتهُ وأجللتَـه، ومهما أعظمتَه وأكبَرته، فأنت المُقصِّر في حقِّه -سُبحانه وتعالى-.

وقال بعض العلماء: "*يُستدل على محبَّـة العبد لله بتوفِيق الله -عزَّ وجل- للعَبد لطاعتـه*"، ولذلِك ما استقرَّت محبَّة الله في قلبِ عبدٍ *إلا وجدتهُ أنشط ما يكُون لفعلِ فَرائض الله، وأبعدَ ما يكُون عن حدودِ الله ومحارمِ الله -عزَّ وجل-*، فمن أحبَ الله انتظرَ في كل لحظةٍ أمرًا من أوامرهِ حتى يُلبي ذلِك الأمر، وانتظرَ في كل لحظةٍ من لحظاته نهيًـا من النَّواهي حتى يتقربَ إلى الله -عزَّ وجل- في ترك ذلك المنهِي".
وقال شيخُ الإسلام ابن تيميَّة -رحمهُ الله-: "والعبدُ كماله في أن يَعرف الله *فيُحبه*، ثمَّ في الآخِـرة يراهُ ويلتذُّ بالنَّظر إليـه".

وأنتَ في زمانٍ يحبهُ الله، *فأكثر من ما يُحبـه الله*؛ وإن كنتَ مقصرًا في حقّه، فهروِل إلى طاعتـه وحُبّـه.

Our Sheikh Muhammad Al-Shanqeeti - may Allah grant him success - said: There is no love that is truer than the love of Allah *And there is no one who loves truly as the love of a servant to his Lord *, and no matter how much you love something, you are exaggerating in it except for in your love for Allah, for no matter how much you love and honor Him, and no matter how much you praise Him and glorify Him, you will fall short in fulfilling His right upon you.

Some of the scholars said: “*The love of a servant for His Lord is indicated by the servant’s obedience of His Rabb.”, and that is why the love of Allah did not settle in the heart of a servant except that I found him the most active in fulfilling Allah’s obligations, and the farthest from transgressing the limits of Allah and the prohibitions of Allah - , so whoever loves Allah, waits in every moment for one of His commands until he fulfills that command, and waits in every moment for a prohibition from the prohibitions until he draws closer to Allah - the Mighty and Sublime - in leaving that prohibition.


The Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah - may Allah have mercy on him - said: “The servant is in a complete state when he knows Allah and then loves Him, then in the Hereafter he sees Him and takes pleasure in looking at Him.”

And you are in a time that Allah loves, so increase in doing that which Allah loves, And if you are negligent and falling short in His right, then hasten to His obedience and His love.

a person is not except what he thinks of throughout his day

On the Day of Khaybar, the Muslims endured severe cold. The Prophet ʿalayhi al-salam ordered those who have blankets to share with those who don’t. Abū Rāfiʿ said, "Finding no one to share with me, I went to the Prophet ʿalayhi al-salam, and he covered me with his own."

the prophet ﷺ said about sha’ban: that is a month between rajab and ramadan that people do not pay attention to, and it is a month in which deeds are raised to the Lord of the worlds

— sunan an-nasa'i

مَضَى رَجَبٌ ومَا أَحْسَنْتَ فيهِ
وهذا شَهْرُ شَعْبَانَ المُبَارَكْ

فيَا مَن ضَيَّعَ الأوقاتَ جهلاً
بِحُرْمَتِها أَفِقْ واحْذَرْ بَوارَكْ

فسوفَ تُفارِقُ اللَّذاتِ قَسْرًا
ويُخلِي الموتُ كَرهًا مِنك دَارَكْ

تَداركُ مَا استطعتَ مِنَ الخَطَايَا
بتوبَةِ مُخلِصٍ واجْعَل مَدارَكْ

علَى طَلَبِ السَّلامَةِ مِن جَحِيمٍ
فخيرُ ذَوِي الجَرَائِم مَن تَدَارَكَ

« a servant might be deprived of a provision that was written for him because of a sin he commits. »

﴿يَومَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعونَ الدّاعِيَ لا عِوَجَ لَهُ وَخَشَعَتِ الأَصواتُ لِلرَّحمنِ فَلا تَسمَعُ إِلّا هَمسًا﴾ [طه: ١٠٨]


قال محمد بن كعب القرظي : يحشر الله الناس يوم القيامة في ظلمة ، وتطوى السماء ، وتتناثر النجوم ، وتذهب الشمس والقمر ، وينادي مناد ، فيتبع الناس الصوت [ فيأتونه ] فذلك قوله : ( يومئذ يتبعون الداعي لا عوج له ) .

نسأل الله العفو والنجاة من عذاب النار ومن عذاب جهنم ومن فتنة المحيا والممات ومن شر فتنة المسيح الدجّال 💔

﴿يَومَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعونَ الدّاعِيَ لا عِوَجَ لَهُ وَخَشَعَتِ الأَصواتُ لِلرَّحمنِ فَلا تَسمَعُ إِلّا هَمسًا﴾ [طه: ١٠٨]

« That Day, they [i.e., everyone] will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps] »
taha:108

On the Day, they see these conditions and these frightening sights, they will hastily respond to the caller. Wherever they are commanded to go, they will rush to it. If they had been like this in the worldly life, it would have been more beneficial for them, but here it does not benefit them.

This is as Allah says,
﴿ أَسۡمِعۡ بِہِمۡ وَأَبۡصِرۡ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتُونَنَا‌ۖ ﴾
(How clearly will they see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us!) (19:38)

may Allah grant us protection and forgive us for our shortcomings 💔

Deeds earn different levels of rewards based on the faith and sincerity in one’s heart. Two people might be praying in the same row, yet the difference between their prayers is like the distance between the earth and the heavens. Allah said,

"Neither their meat nor their blood will reach Allah, but what reaches Him is taqwa from you." (22:37)

— Ibn Taymiyyah, Minhāj al-sunnah

The prophet ﷺ said: the most beloved actions to Allah are those which are consistent, even if it is small — bukhari

examples of virtuous deeds we can implement regularly:
- praying witr and tahajjud / qiyam
- fasting Mondays and Thursdays
- donating a portion of your allowance weekly
- reciting / memorising/ pondering over the quran daily
- seeking beneficial knowledge
- sharing beneficial knowledge
- memorising ahadith of the prophet ﷺ

and many many more! the doors for opportunity are wide open for us alhamdulillah. so what is holding us back?

there are so many no longer with us who would wish to have one more chance to pray again or to fast again and do more good deeds. May Allah forgive us for our shortcomings and guide us to that which is best.

‏اللهُمَّ بلّغنا رمضان بلاغ توفيق و رحمة، و مَعونةٍ و عتقٍ و قبول و دعواتٍ مُجابة، و مَفاوز تثقّل ميزاننا، و رضوان منكَ يحفّنا، و بركاتٍ تتنزّل علينا و سَكينةٍ تتشبّع بها قلوبنا و يقينًا نتخذه زُلفى إليك -بعافية منكَ و فضْل- يا ربّ🤍.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يبشر أصحابه: قد جاءكم شهر رمضان، شهر مبارك، افترض الله عليكم صيامه، تفتح فيه أبواب الجنة، وتغلق فيه أبواب الجحيم، وتغل فيه الشياطين، فيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر، من حرم خيرها فقد حرم.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month, which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it the gates of heavens are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and every devil is chained up. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived."'

وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَصُومُ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اَللَّهِ إِلَّا بَاعَدَ اَللَّهُ بِذَلِكَ اَلْيَوْمِ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ اَلنَّارَ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ

Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri رضى الله عنه narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “No servant (of Allah) fasts on a day (merely) for the sake of Allah except that Allah pushes the Hellfire seventy years further away from his face, due to fasting on this day.”

إن أحسست بثقل الطاعة في رمضان فأكثر قول : "لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله" فلا حركة ولا استطاعة ولا حيلة ولا قوة لأحد على إقامة طاعة الله والثبات عليها إلا بتوفيق الله ومشيئته سبحانه وتعالى ".
